#NEP20 has recommended to design the curriculum based on #Panchkosh The first stage of child development 0 to 7 years is all about physical development the annamayya kosh, the development of the earth element. The preschools work more on the sensory development than the physical growth.

In these years following yam niyam and asan (the first three steps of ashtang yog) are enough. The activities for these children must be based on these three steps. Cleanliness, discipline and posture important aspects of child development.

Asan....sitting squatted on a mat or durrie will help a lot to build earth element and balanced posture where as modern parents and schools make them sit on the plastic chairs. Weak earth element means weak mooladhar chakra, that leads to lack of confidence....
