Don’t feed your child’s mind with junk thoughts

Maggie has been banned In India as it contains lead more than it is required. Other food items too have lead content but at the required quantity.
There are standard units of licensing the food items to have a physically healthy population, but what about the mental fitness or health?
We are so much conscious about the physical health, don’t we ignore the development of the healthy mind. There is a saying ‘A healthy mind resides in a healthy body’, but I don’t find it right when I look around the world there are many physically fit (extra conscious about the physical fitness and are extra fit too) people carry the most polluted/unhealthy minds. What may be the reason behind it?
The reason lies in the roots of the developmental stages of a child, where parents lay stress only on the physical development of the child. Parents are well aware of the healthy food; eating habits etc. they keep on feeding their children to keep them fit and healthy.
Development of the child’s mind is totally neglected. Parents leave it to the mercy of the child whatever comes in his way he keeps on taking it in and in.  It develops on its own with the time passes. The child copies the same what he gets from his family. The family members do not have patience to be the role model for the child. They cook their behavior just like two minutes Maggie noodles in two seconds and serve it in the child’s plate without any do’s or don’ts.
Child’s tender brain picks up the nutrients for the development of his cognitive, language, social or emotional skills everything on his own. The brain has a tendency to set the patterns of what ever goes in. If it goes in repeatedly the patterns become firm and that reflects in his behavior.
Initially parents feel happy for every action of the child that encourages the child to do the similar action over and over again whether it is right or wrong. He does it to make others happy and gets reinforced by their gestures. Initially parents enjoy considering him a child; they believe that he’ll improve as he grows.
Gradually as the child grows the normal behavior is not considered and appreciated but the nasty behavior is criticized by everyone. That criticism too becomes the reinforcement for the child as he is getting attention and it strengthens the patterns in the brain to react to the situation in his own acquired way. When the child applies the same behavior in all the situations he is labeled with many negative tags. Those tags hurt to the parents even and bring frustration in the child who decreases the efficiency of the child and leads to a low self esteem and escaping behavior or vice verse, the child becomes outrageous.
The ignorance of the food for the mind results negatively. Feed the body with edible nutrients and mind with audible nutrients, good thoughts.
Feed the body and mind of your child with utmost care. No Junk food for the body or mind is permissible, Say no to two minutes cooking, have patience cook well serve well.

Happy parenting!
